The Gym Monasterevin was opened in Dec 2015 by owner Glen Brereton. Glen has always had a passion for training and wanted to open a facility that was unlike anything else in Ireland. Glen has hand-picked the very best equipment in the world and established Ireland’s very first Hammer Strength training centre.

No expense has been spared in equipping all of The Gym’s clubs with the very best pieces from Hammer Strength, Arsenal Strength, Watson and more that can’t be seen anywhere else in Ireland. Since then Glen has gone on to open The Gym –Newbridge and The Gym – Carlow, with all clubs fully equipped with the very best equipment in the world.
